March is Reading Month - more information

Monday starts March is Reading Month.

The goal is for every student and adult in the building to read 600 minutes during the month - that works out to 20 minutes a day, every day (7 days a week). Are you up for it? I'm excited and have a whole stack of books ready. Our class has adopted Mrs. Boles and Mrs. Ross to help us reach our goal.

For the really industrious readers, you can work towards getting into the 2010 club by reading 2010 minutes during the month (that works out to about 60-70 minutes per day).

We need to pick a topic from informational texts that we can use as a theme to decorate our door. Anyone have any ideas?

On April 1st, we'll have a Read-In to celebrate our month of reading. Let's think of some fun things to plan for that day.
